Hostal's Policies
Throughout their stay, guests must observe the following regulations. These rules are to be considered a contractual obligation and must be adhered to at all times. Management reserves the right to refuse the admission to any guest who fails to follow these rules and may ask them to leave the premises.
Registration
• To be admitted to Hostal Macaw, all guests must first register at the front desk.
• Guests must have a valid ID (e.g., passport, national ID card.)
• Only guests registered at the front desk are allowed to access the rooms.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult. Written proof of consent from the child’s parent(s) must be presented.
• For the safety of our guests, anyone else staying in a room must also register at the front desk and pay an additional guest fee.
• Impaired guests or visitors will not be allowed on the premises.
• Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
• Please ask for your bill in advance, preferably the night before you are due to check out. If the billing information is not provided, the invoice will be filled out under the name of the guest registered when checked in.
• Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation every day until midnight, except on Sundays.
• All bookings are non-transferable.
Check In and Check Out
Check-in time is from 1:00 p.m. Latest check-out time is noon.
Anyone checking out after that time will be required to pay a late check-out fee at the applicable rate. Please ask at the front desk for further details.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Guests that are leaving before 7:00 a.m. should notify the front desk the night before so that we can prepare a packed breakfast.
Keys & Room Items
Guests must return their keys to the front desk at the end of their stay.
The following items must not be removed from the room: Towels, laundry bags, blankets, remote controls (for air conditioning), and incense sticks.
Luggage
• Guests must place their bags outside their room at least 15 minutes before check out.
• Guests requiring transport before 07:00 a.m. should notify reception the night before.
• Guests must keep the noise in their rooms down.
• Guests must not use towels to clean their shoes. Overly dirty towels will be subject to a surcharge (please ask at the front desk if you require more details).
• Guests should inspect their room before they check out. Items left behind will be stored for a maximum of 90 days.
Cancellation F.I.T.s (For Individual Travelers)
• Cancellation with 4 days’ notice or less: First night of booking will be charged.
• Same-day cancellations and no-shows: Full amount of booking will be charged.
For Groups: Cancellations with 45 days’ notice or less: Full amount of booking will be charged.
Payment Policies
Full payment in advance is required to guarantee a booking.

• The volume on all electronic devices must be kept to a reasonable level.
• Guests must provide their billing information the night before they check out.

• Check-In: From 1:00 p.m. Check-Out: Up to 12:00 p.m.
• Guests wishing to check in early or check out late must give 12 hours' notice (max. extension allowed: 5 hours).
• There is no charge for children under two years of age sleeping in the same room and bed as their parent(s).
• Not all rooms have Wi-Fi access.
• The following items must not be removed from the room: Towels, laundry bags, blankets, remote controls (for air conditioning), and incense sticks. Guests will be charged if any of these items are missing from their room.
• Guests must not use the hostel's towels to clean their shoes.
• Guests must return their keys to the front desk at the end of their stay.
